My love for cars started at a very young age on the south side of Chicago. Down the alley lived two brothers Russ and Frank Craig. They always had the coolest cars. I remember just hanging out watching them work on them and how loud they were, so load you could feel it in your chest! Sometimes they would drive them like they stole them if you know what I mean. Anyway from Big Block 55 Chevy to 63 split window with a blown SB sticking out of the hood to lifted Ford trucks to a 18” fiberglass boat that read gone fishing be back in two seconds. Come to find out later in life it had a blown 426 Hemi in it…. One memory was when they fired up an alcohol funny car and ran it down the alley INSANE!! I was hooked, from that moment on I became a car guy.
